Theo from t3.gg recently illustrated this perfectly. He tested whether an AI coding agent could construct a competitive chess engine from scratch. His prompt: “Build a program with no dependencies that can beat Stockfish level 17.” Straightforward. The model ran for 30 minutes and produced something that won consistently.
